Panoramic of Balcony View

Inspired by my brother's recent panoramic of Holyoke High School's MacKenzie Field, I decided to take the oppurtunity to shoot a few photos of the view from my balcony on the 17th floor. Click the picture to bring up the full size.

View from my Balcony

The software used to make this couldn't be easier to use. AutoStitch allows you to open up the several photos you've taken of a certain area, and automatically stitches them together for you, with almost zero effort required on your part. The only effort should come from swimming through the Options of the program, to make sure you yield a high-resolution panoramic photo. I think I had to change a total of two settings. It's that easy.

  1. Bri, if you use a tripod or even rest the camera on the balcony and move it to each angle, you can eliminate the odd cutting effect. I also edited mine in Paint.net after to make it even. Awesome picture, and I love how the panorama look enhances the view. Your balcony is a great photograpy point for this kind of image. I look forward to more!
